Verona: “I want to be a giraffe.”
Me: “You want to be a giraffe?”
Verona: “A giraffe… or maybe a fruit smoothie.”
Me: “If you were a fruit smoothie somebody might eat you.”
Verona: “If I was a fruit smoothie I would be DELICIOUS!”

Did Verona every say _why_ she wanted to be a giraffe?
I ask because I always wanted to be a little, brown bird when I was a kid. I thought flying would be the coolest experience ever.
She didn’t but she’s really into giraffes right now and her imaginary friend, Mowgli, is a giraffe. I just assumed she wanted to be like him. 🙂
